Part Time Catering Assistant

Rose Manor, Ketley Park Road, Telford, TF1 5FH

£12.21 per hour

15 hours per week

Sanctuary Supported Living is recruiting a part-time Catering Assistant at Rose Manor, Telford.

At Sanctuary Supported Living, we provide personalised housing, care, and support services across England to promote independence.

We are a national, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to putting our customers first and supporting their pathways to independence.

This role, internally known as General Assistant - Catering, involves:

  1. Helping to prepare meals and drinks, following food hygiene standards
  2. Working with customers, families, advocates, and staff to ensure high service standards
  3. Maintaining cleanliness in kitchens, communal areas, and customers' flats
  4. Identifying and reporting faults and hazards to ensure safety
  5. Managing stock levels and equipment in line with guidance

Skills and experience required include:

  • Experience in cleaning duties and catering environment (desirable)
  • Level 2 diploma in housekeeping/catering or willingness to work towards
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Understanding of health and safety at work
