Job summary

Eton College is looking for a dedicated Catering Assistant to join the Central Catering team, providing full dining service during house meals and supporting the chef team with preparation and presentation. You will help with kitchen and dining area cleaning, and assist during house functions and events throughout the year.

The role emphasises outstanding customer service, safeguarding, and adherence to health and safety procedures, with a 40-hour week including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have good customer service skills.
• Flexible approach to work and positive attitude.
• Keen to deliver high standards and support pupils.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy kitchen, service and dining areas.
• Assist chef team with meal prep and presentation.
• Set up dining spaces and serve or assist pupils/guests.
• Wash up crockery and equipment; manage fridges and store cupboards.
• Take deliveries and provide waiting services as required.
• Support at events with additional pay where applicable.
