Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a dedicated Driver for a part-time role contracted to 40 hours per week, across 5 over 7 shifts. The position involves serving ESS Government services at West Midlands Police and HS2, with a police vetting requirement.

You will rotate driving duties, ensure vehicle safety, and provide excellent customer service to service users. We look for a smart, reliable team player with strong communication skills, able to work under health and safety guidelines and training.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence (minimum 5 years) and safe driving record.
• Smart appearance and polite, professional demeanor.
• Strong communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Self-starter, motivated, and reliable with good organisational skills.
• Adaptability to a range of environments and driving conditions.
• Able to perform moderate physical effort and handle manual duties as required.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with safe operating practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional service to customers and clients.
• Rotate driving duties within a team of drivers and follow pre-set schedules.
• Observe all driving regulations and health & safety responsibilities.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects or incidents immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior.
• Represent Compass Group and uphold a professional image with service users.
• Assist in other duties as required and attend training sessions.
