Aramark UK is recruiting a General Service Assistant / Driver for our site at Harlow Hill, NE15 0RF. You will support catering and facilities services while also carrying out delivery and driving duties in a fast‑paced environment.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, good customer service, and the ability to work as part of a team. Shifts are 35 hours per week over five days from seven, with early and late rotations; you will benefit from training, pension contributions and a

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with a good driving record.
• Must be aged 25 or over for driving insurance purposes.
• Previous experience in a customer service, catering, delivery or support role.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic IT skills and confidence using online systems for onboarding and training.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and reliable approach to work.
• Strong awareness of health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supporting day-to-day catering and hospitality operations.
• Serving food and beverages and providing excellent customer service.
• Assisting with food preparation and maintaining clean working areas.
• Carrying out delivery and driving duties safely and professionally.
• Loading, unloading and transporting goods and supplies as required.
• Completing relevant paperwork and delivery records accurately.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and health & safety compliance.
• Using IT systems to complete online training and onboarding requirements.
• Supporting colleagues to ensure the smooth running of services.
