Job Summary

Summary: Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure all functions are delivered, served, and cleared in a timely fashion. Prepares and serves food at scheduled functions under supervision. May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Determine workload from catering orders.
• Meet with function group leaders to discuss setup and resolve last-minute issues.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints professionally.
• Understand menu items fully.
• Instruct staff on work expectations.
• Assist in setting up rooms.
• Assemble and deliver food and supplies.
• Serve food and beverages.
• Return equipment and utensils.
• Maintain proper presentation and temperature, following HACCP standards.
• Keep equipment and supplies clean and organized.
• Follow recipes and standards for food prep.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A valid driver's license may be required.
• Must obtain or possess a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol server's permit as required by law.
