Job summary

Hartlepool is seeking catering staff to support the School Catering service across Hartlepool. The role focuses on serving meals, maintaining high standards of customer care, and supporting the Cook to ensure efficient service.

Qualifications

We wish to appoint catering staff in various schools across Hartlepool, to support the Cook in ensuring that all aspects of the service are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards. Quality standards and excellent customer care are the core values of the School Catering service.

Facilities Management are committed to providing a high standards of customer service, therefore we are looking for applicants who can project this professional approach when carrying out their daily duties.

Main Duties would include:

• The serving of food to the pupils


• Setting out of dining room furniture (tables and chairs)


• General cleaning duties (equipment and surfaces) both in the kitchen and dining room.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to ensure standards meet the requirement of all food related legislation and the Health & Safety at Work Act regulations.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal records check via the Disclosure & Barring Service.
