Job Description

Are you looking for part-time or full-time work with one of the largest catering companies in the UK? We offer flexible Catering Assistant roles, allowing you to choose as many or as few shifts as you prefer.

Working Hours

Constellation manages the schedules of Compass employees, enabling you to work at over 5,000 venues across the UK on shifts that suit you. Most sites operate Monday to Friday, with early starts between 07:30 and 09:30, and finishes in the afternoon depending on location. There are also occasional night shifts from 20:30 to 04:00.

Main Responsibilities

• Being polite, prompt, and friendly to colleagues and guests
• Communicating effectively to ensure smooth service
• Following guidance from lead chef or room manager to maximize team performance
• Maintaining pride in your work and adhering to standards
• Seeking to improve your skills and performance
• Complying with health & safety, food safety, allergens, hygiene, manual handling, and COSHH policies
• Taking responsibility for your own health and safety
• Wearing PPE as required
• Enjoying your work and maintaining a positive attitude

Skills and Qualifications

Experience in cold food preparation (sandwiches, salads) for back of house, or front of house experience such as working at food counters, cashiering, or a mix of both, is preferred.
