Job summary

RGIT Australia is seeking a Catering Assistant for part-time, permanent weekend shifts at our Bloom restaurant in the UK. You will welcome guests, seat customers, assist with menus, serve food and beverages, handle queries, and help maintain a clean dining area.

Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Training and development opportunities are provided, with daytime hours supporting work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Has previous experience working in a catering environment (preferable but not mandatory).
• Has previous experience using a barista machine (preferable but not mandatory).
• Friendly and sociable.
• Good attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new skills; flexible to work additional shifts if required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of restaurant procedures.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and seating customers.

• Role 1 = Saturday (10:30am - 4:30pm) & Sunday (9am - 4:30pm)
• Role 2 = Saturdays (9am - 4:30pm)

Your goal will be to provide a warm welcome to all our Blooms restaurant visitors and do everything you can to make their trip a memorable one. You will be responsible for ensuring customers are served quickly and accurately, operating the tills, ensuring the restaurant area is impeccably clean and supporting the team with whatever is needed to help create a great working environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Catering Assistant your role includes but is not limited to these duties
