Job summary

West Lothian Council is recruiting Catering Assistants for Armadale Primary and Bathgate Academy. The roles are permanent, 38 weeks per year, with duties including food preparation, serving and general catering tasks as directed by the line manager.

Training will be provided. PVG scheme involvement may be required prior to a formal offer. Diverse applicants are encouraged to apply across Scotland.

Qualifications

• Basic food preparation and serving within school catering
• Ability to clear and clean areas as directed by supervisor
• Training will be provided, no prior PVG required for initial trainee stage

Work within school catering undertaking food preparation, serving, clearing as directed by line manager in accordance with the practices and procedures of the service.

Training will be provided.

• Catering Assistant – Armadale Primary School – 1 – 12.00 – 38 – 11:00 – 14:00
• Catering Assistant – Bathgate Academy – 1 – 16.00 – 38 – 10:30 – 14:30
