Job summary

Miquill is seeking a Catering Assistant based in Lechlade, Gloucestershire to join our school catering team. You’ll provide friendly customer service while helping to prepare nutritious meals from fresh ingredients.

This is a zero hours contract, term-time only, with hours varying. Full training will be provided; Food Hygiene Level 2 is preferred. A positive, versatile personality is key to thriving in our kitchen.

Qualifications

• Friendly and versatile personality.
• Exceptional Customer Service skills.
• Training provided for the right person.
• Basic knowledge of Health and Safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a dynamic team to create a fun and unique dining experience for students and staff
• Assisting with preparing and serving our delicious meals.
• Operating Tills (full training provided)
• Ensuring a sparkling clean kitchen environment at all times
• Strictly adhering to all safety guidelines, including Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policy
