Care UK is seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team. You will help maintain a clean, organized kitchen and assist in food preparation for residents, including vegetable prep and sandwich making.

You will ensure proper storage of dry and perishable goods and safely store cleaning materials, while keeping utensils and pots cleaned to a high standard. You will take on tasks from the Head or Second Chef or Home Manager and contribute to a caring, team-focused environment that values

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen and related areas.
• Preparation of produce for mealtime, for example vegetable preparation and making of sandwiches
• Ensure correct storage of all dry and perishable produce.
• Safely storing cleaning materials
• Ensure all cooking utensils and pots are cleaned to the required standards
• Carry out any tasks assigned by the Head / Second Chef or Home Manager
