A market-leading contract catering company is seeking a Catering Assistant to support food preparation and provide excellent service. Responsibilities include working on the tills, cleaning duties, and ensuring Health & Safety compliance. Previous catering experience is preferred but training will be provided. This part-time position offers £12.21 per hour with 20 hours per week during term time.

Overview

As a Catering Assistant, you will support the team in basic food preparation and provide excellent service to both students and staff.

Aspens Services Ltd is a market-leading contract catering company specialising in school food. This allows our teams to do what they do best and provide fantastic food experiences for the children.

Responsibilities
  • Working on the tills during service (full training will be provided)
  • Cleaning duties within the kitchen
  • Ensuring Health & Safety compliance is met
  • Providing a friendly and polite customer service for all
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous catering experience
  • You've worked as part of a team before in a fast-paced environment
  • You have your Food Hygiene level 2 (preferred, but not essential as training will be given)
  • You have basic knowledge of health and safety practices
Employment Details
  • 20 hours per week, with no late nights
  • Working 38 weeks per year based around term time
  • £12.21 per hour
