A vacancy has arisen for a catering assistant who is motivated, interested, and takes pride in maintaining high standards of food preparation and service. Responsibilities include food preparation, basic cooking, food service, kitchen hygiene, and health and safety, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation such as the Food Safety Act and Health & Safety at Work Act. Experience in catering is not essential, as training will be provided both on-the-job and off-the-job. The role is initially based at one location but may require relocation with notice, depending on service needs. This is a temporary position for 6 months, working hours are 9:00 am to 2:30 pm during term time.
