Job summary

Derbyshire Catering Service, part of Derbyshire County Council, is recruiting a Catering Assistant to support the kitchen team and help deliver safe, tasty meals in a school environment.

You will assist with food preparation, cooking, portion control and dining-room setup, while ensuring allergen compliance and high standards of hygiene and safety.

NVQ food hygiene certificate will be required on appointment; potential interview date 08.10.2026.
