Accent Catering Services Ltd is inviting applications for a Catering Assistant at a school site in Woodford Green, IG8, starting September 2026. The role is 16.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:45am to 2:00pm.

You will help with food preparation, serving, keeping counters appealing, and working as part of a friendly team; full training provided and English communication is essential.

• Experience in a similar role is advantageous but full training will be provided.

What you will be doing

• food preparation
• serving, cleaning and washing up
• assisting with inventory management
• maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters keeping them looking attractive throughout the service time
• speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
• undertaking all basic training and work effectively with colleagues as part of a team

This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
