Catering Assistant - Permanent Part Time Weekends & Evenings in Rustington

Contract: Part Time, Permanent

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Hours: To be discussed per week

A well-appointed rehabilitation centre in Rustington, West Sussex, serving an average of 50 customers daily with breakfast, lunch, and night services. This 52-week contract operates 7 days a week with shifts ranging from morning to evening. Benefits include free on-site parking and a free meal on duty.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Catering Assistant to join our friendly team at our prestigious contracts in Rustington.

Responsibilities
  1. Serve clients during breakfast, lunch, or dinner service.
  2. Assist in setting up the dining area for service.
  3. Prepare food following hygiene and safety standards.
  4. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas.
  5. Clear and store away food, beverages, and equipment after functions.
  6. Restock supplies during service to ensure smooth operation.
  7. Operate cleaning and dishwashing equipment properly.
  8. Perform cleaning and hygiene duties as required.
  9. Interact professionally with customers and staff.
General Responsibilities
  1. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and legislation to promote professionalism.
  2. Wear a clean, neat uniform at all times.
  3. Conduct food temperature checks and other safety checks.
  4. Follow management requests promptly.
  5. Report hazards related to health and safety.
