The Scottish Government is seeking part-time staff at Braidhurst High School to assist with food preparation and customer service. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication and numeracy skills, experience in catering desired. Salary: £25,437 - £26,412 per year (pro-rata)

You will work efficiently to undertake basic food preparation, serve meals and beverages to customers.
You should have good communication, literacy, and numeracy skills, along with knowledge of current products and customer demands. You will also be a good team player with experience in customer service and minimal experience with till and cash handling.
Experience in a catering environment and an elementary food hygiene certificate would be advantageous.
You will need to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member before starting this role.

Note: If appointed to a term-time position, and after pre-employment checks, your start date will be 14th August 2025.
This position is temporary until 29 June 2026.

*For casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for each hour worked, covering annual leave and public holidays. Payment will be reflected separately on your payslip, and you will only be paid for hours worked.
