Job description

Location: BRAIDHURST HIGH SCHOOL DALRIADA CRESCENT, ML1 3XF

Salary: £25,437 - £26,412 per year pro rata

Contract Type: Temporary

Position Type: Part Time

Hours: 30 hours per week

You will work quickly and effectively to undertake basic food preparation, serving meals and beverages to our customers.

You should have good communication, literacy and numeracy skills as well as knowledge of current products and customer demands. You will also be a good team player with experience of working with customers on a daily basis and minimal experience of till and cash handling.

Ideally, you will also have experience in a catering environment. An elementary food hygiene certificate would be an advantage.

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.

  • If you are successful after shortlisting stage, interviews will take place week beginning 23rd June - you will receive an email with confirmation of the date, time and location.
  • Please note, if you are successfully appointed to a term time position and pre-employment checks have been completed and verified, your start date within the position will be 14th August 2025

This position is temporary until 31st of December 2025
