Job Description:

We are seeking a Relief Catering Assistant to help provide nutritionally balanced and tasty food for our future generations. The ideal candidate is friendly, hardworking, and approachable, capable of performing various food production tasks along with food service duties.

Responsibilities include preparing food and snacks, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and restaurant areas, serving food to students, and completing food safety training. A passion for delivering efficient service and maintaining high standards of customer service and food safety is essential.

This role involves covering schools in Haverhill and surrounding villages, and applicants must be able to drive. The permanent hours are 10 am to 2 pm, Monday to Friday, during term time only, at a rate of £12.21 per hour.

Working term-time only with no weekends offers excellent work/life balance, making this role suitable for those seeking flexibility.

Qualifications:

School catering experience is preferred but not essential.
