Job summary

Impact Food Group is seeking a Mobile Catering Assistant to support a portfolio of schools in the Newcastle area. You’ll travel between sites, with shifts Mon–Fri during school hours and 16 hours per week (term time, 38 weeks/year). Mileage is paid and you’ll need access to your own transport.

Key duties include helping with food prep, delivering friendly counter service, and maintaining hygienic dining environments. DBS check will be provided.

Job Title: Mobile Catering Assistant

Location: Covering schools in the Newcastle Area

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: mon-thu 10.15-1.30 fri 10.30-1.30(16hours per week)

Working Weeks: 38weeks per year (term time)

Pay Details: £18541.12 per #salaryper## (Milege paid at £0.45per mile) You will need access to your own transport.

What Will I Be Doing?

This is a Catering Assistant role working across a small portfolio of schools. You won’t be based at just one school—you’ll be supporting multiple sites. Travel between schools will be paid, and you’ll always be advised in advance which sites you’ll be covering.
