Impact Food Group is hiring a Mobile Catering Assistant to support several Farnham-area schools on a 30-hour week schedule during term time plus inset days. You will travel between sites, delivering friendly, hygienic catering and counter service with a focus on student wellbeing.
The role requires a customer-focused approach, the ability to work across locations, and access to your own transport. DBS check will be paid for, and you’ll benefit from school-term holidays off as part of the package.

Job Title: Mobile Catering Assistant
Location: Covering schools in the Farnham area
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Shifts & Working hours: 9am-3pm (30hours per week)
Working Weeks: 37weeks per year (term time plus inset days)
Pay Details: £15,633.30 per #salaryper## (Milege paid at £0.45per mile) You will need access to your own transport.
This is a Catering Assistant role working across a small portfolio of schools. You won’t be based at just one school—you’ll be supporting multiple sites. Travel between schools will be paid, and you’ll always be advised in advance which sites you’ll be covering.
We welcome people with great customer service skills, ideally from catering or retail backgrounds—but don’t worry if that’s not you. We’re not just in the business of making school food; we’re here to make good food that our clients and customers love!
A short kitchen visit and interview will be required as part of the selection process.
