Job summary

Tayside Contracts is seeking a mobile catering operative to prepare, cook simply and serve food across the Tayside cluster. The base is fixed, with mobility to other sites as directed by the manager.

Experience in catering and a food hygiene certificate are desirable. You will work under a higher-graded kitchen operative and report to the stated location by the manager.

Job description

This is a mobile catering post with Tayside Contracts, the shared service run for Angus Council, Dundee City Council and Perth & Kinross Council. The work is preparing, lightly cooking and serving food in kitchens across the Tayside cluster, usually under a higher-graded kitchen operative. The base is fixed, but the postholder may be sent to other sites within a reasonable area as their manager directs. Previous applicants should not apply, and catering experience and a food hygiene certificate are desirable rather than essential.
