In this hands-on role, you'll be the driving force behind the smooth and consistent delivery of canteen services, ensuring our Kitchen Works Lite brand standards shine—day or night, weekday or weekend.

Key Responsibilities:
Catering & Service Excellence
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver all catering, vending, and hospitality services
  • Ensure full compliance with dietary requirements, allergen management, and brand standards
Financial & Inventory Management
  • Monitor and control financial performance in line with budget targets
  • Manage purchasing, inventory levels, payroll, and ensure accurate reporting using systems such as eProphit
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, train, and support staff to consistently deliver high-quality service
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and manage disciplinary procedures in accordance with company policy
Compliance & Food Safety
  • Maintain exceptional hygiene and food safety standards
  • Complete all required due diligence records and comply with statutory and company policies
Operational Support & Site Security
  • Provide operational support across the site, including holiday and sickness cover
  • Attend required training and meetings, while ensuring the security of facilities and company assets
What We're Looking For:
  • Qualified & Experienced: NVQ Chef qualification (or equivalent) with a strong background in catering and kitchen management.
  • Effective Leader: Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
  • Financially Savvy: Confident in managing budgets and achieving strong financial performance.
  • Tech-Proficient: Skilled in using operational systems and software to support efficiency and compliance.
  • Calm Under Pressure: Maintains professionalism and high standards in fast-paced environments.
