An established industry player is seeking a dedicated individual for a full-time catering role. This position involves assisting in the provision of a quality catering and function service, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and hazard analysis. The successful candidate will hold an Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate and will be part of a supportive team, working primarily during school hours. This temporary maternity cover role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the community while gaining valuable experience in a regulated environment.
The salary advertised is for a full-time position (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours / sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly.
Hourly rate of pay: £12.96 - £13.78
Temporary maternity cover until 7th October 2025.
This is a 52-week non-sessional post, which includes working during school holidays.
Days and Hours of Work:
Monday - Thursday, 10:15-14:00
Start date: ASAP.
It is essential that all applicants hold an Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2). This can be obtained online from many training providers.

PVG Membership
This role is considered a Regulated Role with vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as per the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020.
Candidates for regulated work will need to become a PVG Scheme member or update their membership before a formal offer is made.
Note: PVG records are updated with new vetting information. Any relevant disclosures will be discussed and investigated before an offer.
