Salary: Grade B SCP 3, £12.45 per hour

Location: Heaton Fold Garden Centre, Bolton

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to work in the back kitchen of our café facility within our successful garden centre at Heaton Fold. Responsibilities include assisting in food preparation according to our menu and operating model.

Initially casual, the role requires availability most weekends and some Bank Holidays, with shifts of approximately 5 hours, between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in our re-opened café, with potential for further opportunities.

The post is graded as Grade B (SCP 3), currently £12.45 per hour. Applicants must be aged 18 or over, as the premises is licensed for alcohol sales.

About You

Applicants should have good knowledge of food preparation and hygiene, excellent customer care skills, and experience in cash handling. Responsibilities include cleaning work areas and appliances, recording compliance checks, and maintaining health and safety standards, primarily in food preparation and presentation.
