Aramark UK is recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our team at Crosskeys Campus, Coleg Gwent. You will support the catering team to deliver high-quality food and beverage service in a busy, friendly environment.

The role focuses on customer service, food hygiene and teamwork. With 30 hours per week at £12.71 per hour, you’ll benefit from pension contributions, life assurance and training opportunities, with clear paths for progression and development.

Qualifications

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and punctual approach to work.
• Willingness to learn and take on a variety of catering duties.

• Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Understanding of food hygiene and health and safety is desirable.
• Previous catering, hospitality or customer service experience would be beneficial, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

Responsabilités

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beverages
• Providing friendly and efficient customer service
• Operating tills and handling payments where required
• Setting up and clearing down service areas
• Restocking food, beverages and other supplies throughout service
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across kitchen, dining and service areas
• Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times
• Supporting colleagues during busy service periods
• Carrying out general catering duties as required by the team
