Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £12.49 per hour
Hours: 30 per week

An independent boarding and day Pre-Prep and Prep school for boys aged 4 - 13 years located in Summertown, Oxford. Catering for over 400 students and staff daily. We offer breakfast, lunch, and supper, along with some hospitality services. This is a 7-day operation, with shift patterns typically 5 days a week.

Available working options include 30 hours per week, 20 hours per week, and full-time roles.

We are currently seeking a Catering Assistant to join our friendly team at our prestigious contracts in Oxford.

Role responsibilities include:

• Serving clients during breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
• Assisting in setting up the dining area for service.
• Preparing food for service, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas.
• Clearing and storing food, beverages, and equipment used for functions.
• Restocking supplies during service to ensure smooth operation.
• Operating dishwashing and cleaning equipment properly.
• Completing cleaning and hygiene duties as required.
• Engaging positively with customers and staff.

General responsibilities:

• Adhering to policies and procedures to promote professionalism and flexibility.
• Wearing a clean, correct uniform at all times.
• Conducting food temperature checks and other safety checks.
• Following reasonable requests from management.
• Reporting hazards and ensuring health & safety standards are met.
