Job summary

Falkirk Council invites applications for a Catering Assistant role within the Facilities (Soft FM) team. Based at Graeme High School, you will help prepare and serve meals that are nutritious and delivered with care across Falkirk schools and sites.

The role is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 1.30pm, term-time and temporary until January 2027. Full training is provided, with PVG membership required for successful candidates.

Join Our Facilities Team - Catering Assistant

We're looking for a committed and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our Facilities (Soft FM) team, supporting schools and other Council sites across the Falkirk area. In this role, you'll help prepare and serve meals that are nutritious, appealing, and delivered with care.

Previous experience is welcome but not essential - full training will be provided. Most important is your positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work well with others. If you're organised, customer-focused and enjoy working as part of a team, you'll thrive in this role.

The Role:

• Location: Graeme High School
• Hours: 20 hours per week
• Days: Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 1.30pm
• Contract: Term Time, Part Time, Temporary until January 2027
• Team: Part of a wider Facilities team delivering catering across the area
