Job summary

Falkirk Council is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant to join our Facilities (Soft FM) team across the Falkirk area, supporting schools and Council sites. You will help prepare and serve nutritious meals with care, and work as part of a team.

Location: Hallglen Primary School. 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am–1:30pm (half-hour unpaid break). Temporary until December 2026. PVG scheme membership is required.

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience welcome but not essential.
• Full training will be provided.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare and serve meals that are nutritious, appealing and delivered with care.
• Support schools and other Council sites across the Falkirk area as part of the Facilities (Soft FM) team.
