Education Partnership North East invites applications for a catering assistant to work predominantly 10am-2.00pm at the Campus Café on the new Wansbeck campus. The role requires prior catering/cafe experience in the education sector; cash handling is an advantage and you should be flexible with hours.

Qualifications

• Food safety L2 qualification.
• Experience in catering/café within the education sector.
• Cash handling experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• To work as catering assistant preparing and serving a range of hot and cold food to staff and students.
• Assist with the preparation of orders, receipt of orders and safe storage after delivery.
• Assist with Buffets for internal hospitalities.
• Comply with health and safety and hygiene procedures and regulations relevant to their working areas.
• Day to day maintenance tasks such as Table clearance, emptying litter bins, sweeping floors, dishwashing, general cleaning
