Hull City Council is seeking a Catering Assistant Extra Care – Grade 2 – Pro Rata, for 20 hours per week at Harrison Park. The role involves catering duties, working under a cook, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen and dining environment in Extra Care settings.

The position is part-time and permanent, with a pro rata salary of £13,845. Applicants will be interviewed on 12th November 2026.

Aufgaben

• To clean kitchen, dining areas and utility rooms under instructions of the cook using domestic cleaning equipment.
• To assist in the preparation and service of food items and beverages and general cleaning duties.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, service and quality.
• Operate day-to-day computerised pre-payment till systems on site.
• Clear and clean service, preparation and eating areas, utensils and equipment; follow rotation schedules.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults.
