Job description

The Best Connection is looking for a Catering Assistant/Cook for our client in Drax to join their friendly kitchen team. This is initially a temporary position but with a view to becoming permanent following a successful probation period.

You would be expected to prepare and cook meals, assist with serving and clearing and create tasty menus.

Previous experience in a similar role is essential, as is Food safety level 2 at a minimum. A clear DBS will also be required.

Pay, Benefits and hours

• £12.21-£14/hour Negotiable subject to skills and experience
• Monday to Sunday, Working 5 days out of 7
• Full time hours at 40 hours a week
• Hours of work between 06:30 and 18:30
• Free on-site parking
