An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the award-winning Derbyshire Catering Service.

Are you passionate about food and enjoy working as part of a team? We are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to work as a valued member of our dedicated kitchen team at Chaucer Junior School. This role may involve working at a production or servery unit. Tasks include food preparation, cooking, portion control, allergen compliance, and preparing the dining area for service.

Our Catering Assistants are the main point of contact with our customers. While serving meals, all team members ensure food hygiene and safety regulations are followed. We aim to create positive lunchtime experiences for our customers, so a suitable attitude for the school environment is essential.

Successful completion of the NVQ food hygiene certificate is required upon appointment.
