Shooters Hill Sixth Form College is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our busy Hospitality and Catering department. The role involves supporting service to students, staff and visitors in a fast-paced educational catering facility.

This permanent post is 30 hours per week, term time only at 39 weeks, with a starting salary of £21,380 (FTE £28,617). The college offers generous leave, LGPS, on-site parking, free breakfast and extensive professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a very busy catering facility.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety in a catering environment and food hygiene and allergens.
• Previous experience in an educational catering environment would be advantageous.
