Job summary

Torquay Girls' Grammar School is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our school kitchen team. You will prepare and serve meals and snacks to students and staff, and communicate effectively with staff, students and visitors. This permanent, part-time role is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year (term time).

Working hours are 7:30am to 2:00pm (including a 30-minute unpaid break). A casual (0 hour) option is also available—please indicate on your application if preferred.

Job description

You will be joining at an exciting time, in a busy school kitchen, preparing and serving meals and snacks to students and staff. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for bein part of a busy school kitchen and be able to communicate effectively with staff, students and visitors.

This is a permanent contract, working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year (term time). The working hours are 7:30am to 2:00pm (including 30 minute unpaid break). We are also looking for candidates interested in casual work (0 hour contract) - please note this on your application if this is your preference.
