Catering Assistant (with delivery) South West Norse

  • Location: Branscombe Primary School
  • Shift pattern: 11.15am - 1.15pm Monday to Friday (term-time only)

South West Norse is the successful service partnership between Devon County Council and Norse Group, delivery a range of essential facilities management services to a growing number of clients in the region.

As we recognise the importance of building a strong kitchen team to be a key ingredient to our catering success, we currently have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant join our team at Branscombe Primary School on a permanent basis.

We will be providing a full catering service to the school, and your role will be to support the kitchen team with food preparation, service delivery and kitchen maintenance. This is a customer facing position, so you will need to be confident engaging with our clients on a daily basis.

As part of the role, you will be responsible for Collecting meals from Sidmouth Primary School, delivering to Branscombe Primary, returning to Sidmouth.It is therefore it is essential you hold a Full UK Driving Licence for the role and have access to a vehicle.

Your Experience:

We are happy to offer full support and training if you are looking to start a career within catering, however it would be an advantage for you to demonstrate:

  • Experience within a catering or dining environment
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail whilst delivering an excellent customer service
