Job Purpose

To work as part of the Catering Team, performing various tasks within the Barista Coffee Shop, Restaurant, Hospitality, and Kitchen areas, ensuring high standards of customer service and food safety are maintained efficiently and safely.

Skills And Experience

• Assist the chef and Chef Manager with food preparation and dishwashing.
• Maintain the counters and front of house to high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Willingness to undertake training to enhance the role.
• Ensure crockery and cutlery are clean and polished.
• Advise customers on menu choices and serve food appropriately.
• Develop good customer relations and promote excellent customer care.
• Experience in a similar role and environment.
• Highly organized and comfortable working under pressure.
• Adhere to high standards of food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all areas.
• Excellent customer service and social skills.
• Responsible for food preparation and serving to staff.
• Positive attitude and team player.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 2:30pm, with opportunities for additional hours to cover sickness and leave.

The role is based at our police headquarters near Scotland Road, close to public transport (L3 3AN).
