Thomas Franks is inviting applications for a Catering Assistant at our breakfast and lunch location in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. The role covers breakfast through dinner service on a Monday to Friday schedule, with free parking and a shuttle from Oxford centre.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working within a catering environment
• Previous experience of serving customers within a catering establishment
• Team working abilities and the ability to work on own initiative
• Hygiene and safety awareness; Food hygiene certificate preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve clients during breakfast, lunch or dinner service
• Help setting up the dining room for service
• Prepare food following good hygiene and safety practices
• Ensure the kitchen is left clean and tidy to the required standard
• Clear, clean and store away food, beverage or equipment for special functions
• Restock and replenish stocks during service periods
• Operate cleaning and dishwashing equipment and store areas
• Complete all cleaning/hygiene duties
• Interact with customers and client staff
