A local government authority in Colchester seeks a Catering Assistant and Barista to deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates should have experience in a public-facing role, preferably catering or hospitality. The role offers full-time working on a rota basis with opportunities for training and development.
Contract Type: 3 x Permanent
Working Hours: 2 x full time, average of 37 hours per week on a rota basis and part time hours (20 hours per week) on a rota basis available
An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check of the child workforce, including a children’s barred list check is required for this role.
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment? We\'re seeking a Catering Assistant and Barista to join our team. Your role will involve preparing and serving hot and cold food and beverages while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate would ideally have experience working in a public-facing role, preferably in a catering or hospitality setting. Experience will include food preparation, barista skills, and maintaining high hygiene standards. You\'ll create a welcoming atmosphere for customers, work effectively as part of a team, and handle cash transactions accurately.
Our full-time positions will work an average of 37 hours per week on a rota basis. Early morning, weekend and evening working will be required.
