Job summary

Cater Care is seeking a Part-Time Catering Assistant at Alphington to support resident meals and daily kitchen tasks in a friendly team environment.

The role offers entry-level opportunities with structured training, uniform provided, and an Employee Assistance Program. You will work Monday-Friday with possible Sunday nights and engage in quality service for senior residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service and/or customer service.
• Experience in catering environments a plus.
• Reliable, organised and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with basic food preparation (salads, sandwiches).
• Serving meals and snacks with friendly, high-quality customer service.
• Restocking supplies before and after meal periods.
• Cleaning kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing duties.
• Setting tables and supporting chefs with day-to-day kitchen tasks.

Part-Time Catering Assistant

Pay: $27.08/hr base + superannuation

Location: Alphington, VIC

Roster: Monday-Friday (7:00 am – 1:00 pm OR 1:30 pm – 7:30 pm) | Optional Sunday nights

Key Responsibilities
