An established industry player is seeking a dedicated food service worker to prepare and serve meals in schools and community facilities. This role involves cooking, ensuring quality service delivery, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. Undertake the preparation, cooking, and service of food and beverages within primary and secondary schools and community facilities.
This role may require flexible and weekend working.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
The successful candidate will be expected to fry fish and chips on the days they are on the menu and also to clean the fryer on a regular basis. Working pattern is 3.00 hours daily over lunchtime with an extra hour on the day the fryer is cleaned.
Aberdeenshire Council currently applies a Living Wage Supplement to all Council employees earning less than £12.60 per hour.
