Job Description

These are term-time, part-time positions with salaries pro-rata based on hours worked.

  1. Post 1: Knoxland Primary School - 25 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.
  2. Post 2: Levenvale Primary School - 15 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.
  3. Post 3: Vale of Leven Academy - 19 hours/week, Monday to Thursday, 9:30 am - 1:30 pm; Friday, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.
  4. Post 4: Lennox Primary School - 25 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.
  5. Post 5: St Patrick's Primary School - 12 hours/week, Monday to Thursday, 11:00 am - 1:30 pm; Friday, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Vacancies are available for Catering Assistants within the Alexandria and Dumbarton areas. The role involves assisting with daily operational requirements of the catering service, including food preparation, service, and maintaining hygiene standards in compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities include assisting in food prep, serving, setting up/clearing equipment, and cleaning to high standards, including crockery, utensils, and kitchen/dining areas. The role requires adherence to Food Safety Systems, Safe Systems of Work, and Health & Safety Legislation. Knowledge or experience in these areas is advantageous.

The successful candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Requirements

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007, requiring membership of the PVG scheme. Applicants must be willing to join or update their PVG scheme membership prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Employment is excepted from certain provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975. Applicants must disclose all convictions, whether spent or not, as failure to do so may lead to dismissal or disciplinary action.
