XXXXX is seeking a Catering Assistant to join a supportive team in Chichester. This role involves preparing and serving nutritious meals, upholding strict health and safety standards, and helping the team operate efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.

You will bring a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate or be willing to obtain one, plus knowledge of COSHH. Previous catering experience and a learner's mindset around caring for older residents are valued.

Qualificações

• Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
• Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment.
• Experience working with older people (ideal, but not essential).

Responsabilidades

• Assisting with the preparation and service of nutritious, well-presented meals.
• Ensuring all health, safety, and hygiene standards are followed to the highest level.
• Helping minimise waste and using kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Supporting the catering team and communicating any issues promptly.
