Job summary

Accent Catering Services Ltd is seeking a Catering Assistant for our school site in Worthing (BN14). The role is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 2:30pm with a 30-minute unpaid break, term-time only. It is a customer-facing position requiring clear English communication.

Training will be provided and a DBS disclosure is required. This role supports providing nutritious, appealing meals and a positive dining experience for students, with emphasis on teamwork and maintaining high

• Customer-facing role experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• General kitchen duties
• Putting away deliveries
• Food preparation
• Serving, cleaning and washing up
• Assisting with inventory management
• Maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters
• Speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
• Undertaking all basic training and working effectively with colleagues as part of a team

People are at the heart of everything we do, and we are looking for a motivated Catering Assistant to help us create an outstanding food offer at our school site in Worthing., This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
