Job summary

Accent Catering Services Ltd is seeking a proactive Catering Assistant at our Worthing site (BN14). This 20-hour-per-week role runs Monday to Friday, 10:00–14:30 with a 30-minute break, delivering friendly, high-quality food service to students and staff.

You will assist with food preparation, serving, cleaning, inventory, and presentation, and maintain excellent standards while communicating clearly in English and working as part of a team. Full training provided.

• Customer facing role requiring good communication and English.
• Experience in catering/food service is advantageous.
• Full training will be provided.

We have an exciting opportunity at our school site in Worthing, BN14 for a Catering Assistant to join the team at Accent.

What you will be doing

• food preparation
• serving, cleaning and washing up
• assisting with inventory management
• maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters keeping them looking attractive throughout the service time
• speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
• undertaking all basic training and work effectively with colleagues as part of a team

This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
