Job description

Catering Assistant - Witney - FM Service Provider - £13 per hour

Exciting opportunity for a Catering Assistant to work for an established company in Witney. The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a Catering Assistant and be able to start immediately.

Hours / Details

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Contract: Two weeks cover
• Immediate start

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all food hygiene regulations, including HACCP
• Check in food deliveries to ensure only high-quality produce is accepted
• Ensure proper food storage following hygiene regulations and FIFO stock rotation
• Perform cleaning duties for service and related equipment or furniture
• Prepare service areas and points
• Store food items and equipment correctly after service
• Assist in other kitchen units during quieter periods in hospitality
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform according to company standards
• Support the implementation of the company’s health and safety policies
• Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures
