Job summary

Impact Food Group (IFG) is hiring a Catering Assistant at Wilmington Academy, Wilmington, DA2 7DR. Working Monday to Friday, 8am-3:30pm, 35 hours per week, 32 weeks per year (term time only). Annual pay £16,014.60.

You’ll join the catering team to provide friendly, efficient, hygienic service, assist in food prep, serve at the counter and operate the till, while keeping areas clean and safe. Experience in catering or retail is welcome but not required.

About the role

Job Title: Catering Assistant

School Location: Wilmington Academy, Wilmington, DA2 7DR

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 8am-3.30pm (35hours per week)

Pay Details: £16,014.60 per Annum

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work as part of the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service.
• Assist in preparing food and snacks for the site.
• Serve customers at the counter and operate the till.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
