Job summary

Impact Food Group (IFG) is seeking a Catering Assistant on a 3-month fixed-term contract at Harris Academy Beckenham in Beckenham, Bromley. The role runs Monday to Friday, 9am-2pm (25 hours/week) during 37 weeks per year (term time only), with a salary of £13,027.75 per annum.

You will join a friendly catering team, serving students and staff with hygienic, efficient service. The role involves food preparation support, serving at the counter, till operation, and maintaining clean, safe dining

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred in catering or retail.
• Ability to handle till/cash transactions.
• Experience working in fast-paced catering environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the catering team to provide friendly, efficient, and hygienic service.
• Assist in preparing food and snacks for the site.
• Serve customers at the counter and operate the till.

About the role

Job Title: Catering Assistant - 3 month FTC

What You’ll Be Doing:
