Job summary

Aspens Services, a market-leading contract caterer for schools, is seeking a Catering Assistant in Middlesbrough to support kitchen operations with basic food preparation and to deliver excellent service during the lunch rush.

You will be a friendly team player, providing front-line service to students and staff, while helping maintain health & safety standards in a busy kitchen. Training and DBS disclosure will be provided as part of joining the Aspens family.

Qualifications

• You’re a team player and thrive as part of a busy team.
• Previous catering or fast-paced service experience is preferred.
• You have a basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• The Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification is great, but not essential as we can provide the training!

Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction: Working on the tills during service (training provided).
• Front-Line Service: Providing friendly, polite customer service to students and staff.
• Essential Support: Assisting the team with basic food preparation.

The role:
