Job summary

Sanctuary Care is recruiting a Catering Assistant for Broadmeadow Court Residential Care Home in Chesterton, Stoke-on-Trent. You will assist with food preparation and meal service for residents in a calm, well-organised kitchen environment.

You’ll help present meals to a high standard, adhere to hygiene standards, and keep areas clean. A food hygiene certificate is desirable or you can work toward one, with support from the team.

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience and a food hygiene certificate, or willingness to work towards one.
• Clear communication skills and a flexible approach.
• Understanding of safe food handling and cleaning practices
